Tires & Tails Car and Dog Wash Saturday

Wash all of the things! Wendy's Misfits Animal Rescue is breaking out the suds this Saturday May 19th in Lufkin at Auto Zone. I always see lots of car washes at that location, so you know where  I am talking about on Timberland Dr, near Kiwanis Park.

They are still looking for volunteers to help out at the car/dog wash, and spread the word about their rescue and mission. Plus they are now an official Non-Profit organization, and they can approve community service hours. Perfect for those high school students looking to bulk up that college application.

But your help can also come in the form of just stopping by with your dirty dog, and vehicle. Get them shined up together for the weekend, and you could be in the running for some prizes, including hand made items.

Handmade Leather Purse, Handmade Leather Makeup Bag, "I Love My Rescue" Glass Canisters, and Coffee Cups, are all up for grabs. Don't worry if there are spots open, all are welcome to come and help and make a difference.
