Water Main Break In Nacogdoches Leads To Boil Water Notice
Update: This boil water notice is now over.
In south Nacogdoches along US 59 South of county road 524 a water line broke on Sunday after 8 PM. Residents along both sides of the US 59 corridor lost water service.
City Of Nacogdoches utility crews were on the site quickly working in the dark to fix the issue. At the time the estimated repair time was 6-8 hours.

The work on the repair triggered a boil water notice when the water pressure was returned. Once residents in the affected area got their water back they had to boil water to wash their hands, brush their teeth, wash their faces, and drink.
