I've been keeping up with the shenanigans of Rob Dyrdek, since his first reality series on MTV. I never missed an episode of Rob & Big, and I thought it was a great show.
Rob first got famous being a professional skateboarder, but now he is a tv icon with his long-running show Ridiculousness. The funny clip show was first aired in 2011. Now it's in reruns on MTV at all hours of the day along with new episodes.
It was only a matter of time before someone in Deep East Texas made a clip worthy of being on the show. Local food truck 'Waffles With A Twist' got their video on an episode that aired on June 23, 2023.
Waffles With A Twist Had Too Much Twist
Waffles With A Twist food truck owner, Sonya Reid, started her food truck in the middle of a pandemic. Now they are thriving and bringing fried chicken and waffles to the masses in Lufkin, Nacogdoches, and all of East Texas.
Waffles with whipped cream, sprinkles, and more are their specialty. I have heard great things about the food, but it was a quick video promoting the truck that aired.
The video is a short clip of Sonya proudly displaying one of her masterpieces, and then accidentally dropping it on the floor. It made the "food fumbles" piece on the show.
Steelo Brim mentioned their name: 'Waffles With A Twist' on the episode and made the comment that she just twisted too much.
