Lady Gaga Goes Country?

What was LADY GAGA was thinking when she recorded what she's calling the "Country Road Version" of her hit "Born This Way."  Gaga released a link to the song just after 2:00 a.m.  via her Twitter account, writing that it was "Produced By: Me + Fernando," the latter evidently producer FERNANDO GARIBAY, who also produced the original "Born This Way."  The Twitter link takes you to YouTube, where the song is posted.  It's not just a remix, but a complete re-working of the still-recognizable hit,  featuring steel guitar, harmonica and more of a country-rock rhythm and vibe, ending with a piano-driven near-gospel feel.  What do you think about the new version?
