The 20th anniversary season of Angelina Arts has a theme "A Toast To Our 20." Patrons of the arts in Deep East Texas have reacted in a positive way, responding by buying season tickets. The fact that the Blue Man Group and Renee Elise Goldsberry from Hamilton, The Color Purple, and Rent might be a big factor.

Due to the response Angelina Arts has extended the deadline to purchase tickets. Season tickets are now on sale at the new Temple Theater box Office at 3500 S 1st St, Lufkin, TX until Friday August 28th. That gives you almost a full month to make that purchase. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.angelinaarts.org or just over the phone at 936.633.5454.

So if you want great seats, at a great price, this is the way to get it done. It's also a way to see some amazing shows, without leaving town. That is priceless to get that kind of entertainment. Traveling to Houston and Dallas is fun, but if you take in a show, and aren't coming home that night it can get expensive.

This way you are supporting the arts in our area, and saving yourself some time and money, with a high level of entertainment. This is going to be, in my opinion the best year for musicals at Angelina Arts. National Tours of 'Escape to Margaritaville, and Beautiful - the Carol King Musical will also be this year.

The changing of the deadline also has moved the on-sale date for single tickets to shows, if you were planning on just seeing a few of them. That date has been moved to Monday, September 14th at 11:00am.
