There are a lot of common misconceptions about living in Austin, Texas:

• Everyone drives a Tesla
• Everyone drinks ranch water
• Lime scooters are on each corner
• Everyone wears a Patagonia jacket

Though these styles and products can seem prevalent, it's a bit of an overstatement, and that is what comedy is all about. However, this video took a dark turn when they started talking about the Rainey Street killer.

They even went to one of my favorite spots on Rainey "Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden". The main character gets a Ranch Water, a popular order in Austin.

Ranch water is a cocktail made with Tequila, Topo Chico, and lime. Everyone loves the drink because the only calories are from the alcohol, so you can still fit into your Patagonia jacket.

The video is all satire, so they make jokes about Sweetgreen and Chipotle being local Austin spots. They also brought Joe Rogan's podcast into the mix and his club The Comedy Mothership.

If you left out all of the storylines about the Raniey Street killer, the rest of it would be pretty spot-on. The last conversation I had with someone about entertainment in Austin mentioned The Comedy Mothership, and I can't wait to go.
