I was born and raised in Texas, and I've never lived anywhere else. (That always throws people when they find out that I don't use the word "y'all" or eat barbecue.) I'm a proud graduate of SFA, where I got a degree in communications. Now I talk to myself and play on the internet for a living. My five worst habits, in no particular order, are: biting my nails, refusing to answer incoming phone calls (I'd rather text), correcting people's spelling and grammar, spending too much time online, and occasionally using a fake English accent.

Find Your Olympic ‘Body Matches’
This is probably the weirdest Olympics related thing I've come across so far. You can go to the BBC website and enter your height/weight, and they'll find the Olympic athlete who most closely matches your numbers. My results were less mortifying than I thought...
Watch U.S. Gymnast Aly Raisman’s Parents Watching Her at The Olympics [VIDEO]
This video is all kinds of awkward. Aly Raisman is competing with the US gymnastics team at the Olympics, and her parents seem like they're really, um, invested. (Maybe a little too invested?) Either way, I imagine this is what it looks like to watch people watching a 3D movie.

MTV is Covering Comic Con 2012
Going to Comic Con in San Diego, while a lot of fun, is a pain. It expensive, there are insane crowds, and an overwhelming list of things to do and see. MTV is covering the best of Comic Con and putting it all online. It's cheaper and less anxiety-ridden that way! They did a long interview session with the Breaking Dawn 2 cast earlier, and there's a ton more to come. You can check out the live str
A New(ish) Band to Try: Now, Now
A friend turned me on to this group, Now, Now, and I really like them. They've been around since 2003, which is why I call them new(ish). They're only on their second album, but they've got almost a decade under their belts! I came across this Audiotree Live session, and it's awesome.
Adele Might Already Be Seven Months Pregnant
Adele's big pregnancy announcement was slightly overshadowed by the TomKat divorce announcement that came the same day, but now that the dust has settled around the speediest divorce agreement ever, we can all focus on Adele's bambino news. Rumor has it (see what I did there?!) that Adele is way more pregnant than anyone knew, and that they baby will be arriving in about two months! She's a lady w
