This is a huge honor, Butcher Boys in Nacogdoches is featured on a statewide syndicated TV show. The TV Show "The Texas Bucket List" stopped into Butcher Boys and took some time to chat with owner Billy Huddleston. He opened the restaurant way back in 1977.

They also spoke to Camilla King while she was cooking some of those epic burgers. She has worked there for over 20 years, and says Mr.Huddleston is a great person to work for. The onion rings were featured, and really were the star of the show.

People from all over the state now know what an amazing place Butcher Boys is to eat at. They have a full 5 minute segment airing on the show that really got into depth on the history and food at the this local gem of a restaurant. They recently put it up on You Tube for everyone to see.

This TV show airs much like "Texas Country Reporter" on TV stations all over the state. They even have affiliates in Nevada, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

The show is hosted by its creator, Lone Star Emmy, and Regional Edward R. Murrow Award winning reporter Shane McAuliffe. He is shown eating a burger that Camilla created just for the show. You can see it just dripping the entire time.

The show has only been airing for about two years, and they have already made it to Lufkin to try a Mom's Burger and Nac Burger for their "Burger Of The Week" segment. Hopefully Shane and the rest of his crew will find lots to feature in East Texas for future segments of the show.
