Cardi B and Rich the Kid have each reached a new milestone in the rap game: being hired to perform at the traditional Jewish coming-of-age celebration known as a bar mitzvah (for boys) or a bat mitzvah (for girls). This weekend, both rappers were recruited to make two separate bar mitzvah celebrations in New York City that much more unforgettable.

As reported by Page Six, Rich the Kid and DJ Irie handled the music duties at a bar mitzvah for for Ryan Lutnick, the son of Cantor Fitzgerald CEO Howard Lutnick. The celebration took place this weekend (Oct. 21) at the Metropolitan Museum’s Temple of Dendur, which is the same location that plays host to Vogue’s annual Met Gala.

Meanwhile, the Bronx rapper made an appearance downtown at Tao, helping a lucky teenage boy named Jake celebrate the once-in-a-lifetime occasion. He also reportedly was flanked by Knicks City Dancers for his arrival to the hotspot restaurant.

“Bro, I just left my first bar mitzvah. I just did a bar mitzvah for this cute little boy called Jake. Epic,” Cardi B shared during an Instagram Story update following the event. “How you close TAO on a Saturday night? The hottest restaurant in New York. How you do that? That’s different.”

Both rappers charge a hefty booking fee, with sources sharing Rich the Kid cost between $200K and $300K, while Bardi “wouldn’t get out of bed for less than half a million.”

Cardi B and Rich the Kid join the likes of Nicki Minaj, Drake, 21 Savage, Fetty Wap and Fat Joe, among others, who have each performed at a bar mitzvah in the past. Mozel Tov!
