Rich The Kid Shares Release Date for New Album

Rich The Kid is going to make sure his fans kick off the new year the right way. Yesterday (Nov. 6), the Queens rapper hopped on Twitter and announced that his sophomore album The World Is Yours 2 will be dropping on Jan. 18.

"THE WORLD IS YOURS 2 DROPS JANUARY 18TH!!," Rich wrote on Twitter.

The World Is Yours will arrive less than a year after Rich's debut LP, which dropped last March. Last month, the Rich Forever Music boss claimed that his album was almost done. "I just finished the album of the century," he tweeted at the time.

The first The World Is Yours was an album that saw Rich The Kid's star solidify, as he unloaded hit singles like "New Freezer" and "Plug Walk" on his way to more national recognition than ever. Here's to hoping Rich has more bangers in store.

When Rich hasn't been plotting his new album, Rich has kept himself booked and busy. Recently, he performed at a bar mitzvah at New York City's Metropolitan Museum's Temple of Dendur.
