Halloween is always special when you have a local candy maker. During covid they started a drive-thru, trick-or-treat experience for local kids.

Worried that traditional trick-or-treating would take a backseat to the pandemic, Atkinson Candy Company started this event. Even now that things are somewhat returning to normal, the business is going to continue what has now become a tradition.

The 3rd Annual Chick-O-Treat is on Monday, October 31st, 2022. It's still a drive-thru, and honking for candy is encouraged.

The Third Annual Chick-O-Treat Is Coming To Lufkin, Texas

The entire community is invited out from 4 pm to 6 pm to 1608 West Frank Avenue in Lufkin. Atkinson Candy employees will be handing out candy for Halloween.

Come in costume and join in the fun. You can even make a car-stume for your ride and show it off.

Use the entrance by the Spud and give them a honk for candy! People from all over will be there lined up for the treats.
