Dan’s Day Trips – First Ever Menudo Festival

Everyone knows that San Antonio is the hub for great Tex-Mex food. They are solidifying their place in the rankings with a first of it's kind festival in America. The Menudo Madness Festival & Cook-off organized by Sabor! Cocina Mexicana, in the Moonlight Ballroom & Conference Center. Tickets are already on sale for the event coming up March 10th, 2019 from 12n - 4pm.

Tickets range from $15 to $25 for this "fun filled, family friendly event for fans of the traditional mexican dish, Menudo! There will be live music, live pro wrestling (weather permitting) and of course, Menudo!"  Anyone can compete, and there will be cash prizes. Entry fee is $100 if you think you can beat the other chefs. This is open to anyone, including professional chefs so bring your A game!

San Antonio is a great weekend destination just hours from the East Texas area. This event has been touted as family friendly, and would be interesting for anyone that loves to cook or eat Menudo. Menudo not just a band anymore! Ricky Martin started in Menudo, and you can too? They still have early bird ticket pricing going on now, and are still taking applications for cooks.
