Deep East Texas Christmas Parades Are Coming
Don't miss these amazing Christmas Parades coming to an East Texas city near you.
These Parades really usher in the Christmas season rather than celebrate it. They happen before all of the other events planned in our towns for the holidays. Just days after Thanksgiving, get ready to see these lighted Christmas Parades in your local communities. Plus you might have a chance to enter your float in the Parade!
Come back home to Nacogdoches for Christmas, and reminisce on the brick streets of Downtown Main Street, with their Christmas Parade, Saturday December 2, 2017. The parade begins at 6:30 PM, followed by fireworks, the theme this year is "I'll Be Home For Christmas". The parade is also a part of the bigger holiday event in Nacogdoches, The Nine Flags Festival. The festival begins at 9:00 AM, and will last until the parade ends. The Main Street Lufkin Lighted Christmas Parade theme this year is "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree," and will be November 27th at 6pm. The parade winds through the downtown streets of Lufkin, and includes all the sights and sounds of the holiday season. First, second and third place prizes are awarded in commercial and non-commercial divisions. Santa always has a place of honor on the float awarded for “Best Theme Interpretation.” This parade is Main Street Lufkin says “Merry Christmas” to the community.
