Diboll Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Bust

Last night, February 11th 2020, the Diboll Police Department initiated a traffic stop that led the the arrest of two suspects.  They were found to be in possession of Marijuana, Hydrocodone, and Xanax.

Officers arrested two suspects in possession of 1.5 lbs of Marijuana, 50.5 grams of Hydrocodone, and 208.7 grams of Xanax. These narcotics were being delivered to the East Texas area for local distribution. Our officers have been involved in numerous arrests of narcotics violations in the last few months. Diboll officers are aware of the rise in the narcotics activity in our area and have been highly proactive in the interdiction of these illicit drugs. Highway 59/I69 continues to be the main corridor for drugs entering our area. The suspects have not been named at this time.
