  • 13 Dirt Cheap storefronts will be closing for good.
  • There will only be 2 Dirt Cheap locations left in Texas.
  • Huge store clearance sales going on now.

Dirt Cheap is cutting deep in Texas. The popular retailer that gives all of our returned merchandise a second chance, will be left with just two stores.

The two locations spared are Euless between Fort Worth and Dallas, and Pasadena in the South East Houston area. The following stores are closing their doors for the last time on or around May 6, 2023:

  • Alvin Dirt Cheap
  • Arlington Dirt Cheap
  • Denton Dirt Cheap
  • Ennis Dirt Cheap
  • Garland Dirt Cheap
  • Hillsboro Dirt Cheap
  • Nacogdoches Dirt Cheap
  • New Braunfels Dirt Cheap
  • North Richland Hills Dirt Cheap
  • San Antonio Dirt Cheap
  • Tyler Dirt Cheap
  • Waco Dirt Cheap
  • White Settlement Dirt Cheap

I contacted the Alvin Dirt Cheap location and they confirmed that all of the stores with a red light and (STORE CLEARANCE SALE! LIMITED HOURS!) listed next to the locations at ilovedirtcheap.com were closing. Hours are limited from 10 AM to 7 PM.

That means that 13 stores are going away for good in the Lone Star State. I also saw an additional 5 locations that are slated to close in other states.

Dirt Cheap stores are located in the following southern states:

  • Alabama
  • Arkansas
  • Florida
  • Georgia
  • Louisiana
  • Mississippi
  • Tennessee
  • Texas

The prices on select items will be 70 to 90% off, but that really is kind of business as usual, as the prices are usually deeply discounted. Better deals might be coming as the date to move out gets closer for these locations.
