Another mass shooting has sent shock waves across the globe as a terrorist in the New Zealand city of Christchurch opened fire on Muslims in a mosque taking the lives of 49 people and seriously injuring another 20 on Friday (March 15). As the news has quickly spread, people in the hip-hop community including Drake, Nicki Minaj, T.I., Chance The Rapper, Juicy J and Cardo have offered their condolences to victims of the senseless crime.

The shooter has been identified as 28-year-old Australian citizen Brenton Harrison Tarrant, reports CNN. The motive behind the crime has been established as authorities have located an 87-page manifesto from Tarrant filled with anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim ideas.

Drizzy performed in Paris last night and took some time out during his set to speak up about the tragedy. "I want you to know, that when there's terrible things going on in the world, we can still look around this room tonight and see something beautiful," the Scorpion rapper noted. "We got people from all races, all places, all religions. We in here showing love tonight. So I want to send love to all the families that are affected. We are praying for you."

Nicki, who is currently touring abroad, also reacted to the incident on social media. "My heart is with our Muslim brothers & sisters at this time; after the senseless act in New Zealand," she wrote on Twitter.

Producer Cardo also offered, "Prayers up for New Zealand." Tip questioned what would be done on Instagram.
