Days after penning a heartfelt tribute to a fan of his who recently passed away, Drake is continuing to both mourn the loss and honor her memory.

Tuesday (Nov. 6), prior to his Aubrey and the Three Migos tour stop in Vancouver, the OVO rapper shared the sweet gesture, revealing that he had his staple white vest emblazoned with the letter “K” in memory of the fan, Kay The Queen.

On his Instagram post showcasing the new golden accent on the garment, Drake added, “got you with me every night now @the.kaydiaries.”

The pair grew to be friends after initially being connected through the Make-A-Wish foundation.

During his first post acknowledging Kay’s death, he expressed how he felt remorse for missing her birthday greeting to him, going on to explain that she would text him positive messages encouraging him while he was on tour.

Hopefully Drake keeping Kay’s kind words and legacy close to his heart will help bring him closure.

Throughout his career, the rapper has often made headlines for his at-times unlikely friendships, such as with actress Millie Bobby Brown and of course, for his dating life. He recently tried to shoot his shot with Stefflon Don, explaining how he’d be the perfect boyfriend.
