The pop culture gods smiled down on the world below when Drake and his fellow Canadian super-titan Celine Dion met backstage at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards this past weekend. A portion of the meeting was captured on video, and from what we can tell, the conversation exactly as you would've expected.

"It means the world," Drizzy can be heard saying as he shakes Dion's hand, cheesing uncontrollably the entire way through. "You're very iconic, we love you—I'm like a year away from a Celine tatt," Drake continues before the video cuts out. We have a slight feeling Drizzy's not all the way joking about that tattoo, either.

For her part, Dion can be heard telling Drizzy thank you, while appearing to be quite happy to meet the Toronto superstar, who broke Adele's records for most Billboard Music Awards wins in a single night when he took home 13 trophies that same day.

Dion, herself, became one of the most discussed parts of the star-studded event when she turned in an inspiring performance of "My Heart Will Go On," a track immortalized by its use in 1997's historically popular film, Titanic. Drizzy, on the other hand, had the crowd turnt when he turned in an electric performance of “Gyalchester.” Canada stays winning.
