Drake might want to give a raise to his security team, because they make sure he isn't touched by anyone without a fair fight, as we've seen in the past. Pop musician Shawn Mendes stops by The Tonight Show to talk with Jimmy Fallon, where he tells the story of how he got roughed up by the Toronto rapper's security team.

While attending The Weeknd's show in the Canadian city recently, Mendes says that he saw Drizzy in the V.I.P. area, and when he went to approach him, things took an unexpected turn.

"The other night, I was in Toronto and I went to see The Weeknd," he says in the clip below. "I'm watching The Weeknd, and we're up on this riser, and Drake's also there watching the show with like another few artists and stuff. And I go over like, 'Oh, that's Drake. I'll go say hi. He must remember me from previous experiences like twice.'"

Unfortunately, the More Life rapper's security team didn't notice who Mendes was at the time, or had any awareness of their previous meetings, which led to them roughing up the singer a little bit before Drake saved the day.

"So I go over and I see him. He's a huge guy, right? So you don't just go over to him. I guess not. So I go over to touch his side, and his 6'6", 300 pound security guard... next thing I know I'm in the middle of The Weeknd show with my arm hooked behind my back. Drake's security guard just has me completely at his mercy. And I'm like, 'Oh no!' I see Drake look over, and in my eyes it was like, 'Please help me. Please, Drake.' In that moment, if he didn't remember who I was, I probably would have... I don't know what I would have done. I would've been in jail, yeah."

Even though Mendes says the experience was "terrifying" at the time, it definitely brought out tons of laughs from the audience. It looks like the rapper's extremely dedicated fans can think twice about putting their hands on Drake in the future, as his security won't be tolerating it.
