There have been more than a few places planning drive-thru Halloween candy give away. Here is another one, the difference here is that 'Howl At The Market' is going on for multiple days in a row. You can drive-thru the Angelina County Farmers Market all next week. October 26th - 30th 2020 from 5:30 - 8:30 each night with the kids and get some candy.

Howl At The Market is just one of the many events they have going on though the holidays at the Angelina County Farmers Market. They are also presenting a Baker's Show Case. Bakers will bring their best thanksgiving goods and take orders from the community.

There will be door prizes, free samples of wine to sip. If you are a cook or baker, and you want to sell you baked goods during Thanksgiving, you should enter this event. Just showcase what you bake. Pies, dressing, cookies, whatever it is and take orders. It's just $25 for a bakers spot, and $10 to attend. We can go taste what what they are making on Thursday, Nov 5th 2020, from 5:30-8:30pm.

I am so glad that there are so many of these popping up. Even before Covid changed everything about our lives, trick-or-treating in some areas is just not possible, in the traditional way in Deep East Texas. You live outside the city limits of Lufkin or Nacogdoches and your driving from house to house of people you know, I think this is a great way to get those kids some candy. You don't want them pulling any tricks!

The Angelina County Farmers Market is located at 2701 S.Medford Drive in Lufkin, beside Cafe Del Rio.
