Drowning Dog in Lake Houston Gets Rescued, Finds Forever Home

If you're tired of getting weighed down by stories of stress and uncertainty, try this one on for size.

This is a story that had death and sadness written all over it, until a couple families with huge hearts turned it into something beautiful.

According to KHOU.com, a man looking through binoculars across Lake Houston spotted a dog in despair.  He and his wife sprung into action and saved the dog in more ways than one.
