The Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce wisely made the decision not to have a Forest Festival this year in the traditional way. Things are different now, and they are changing it to a Fall Forest Festival in Downtown Lufkin. To find out more about why and just CLICK HERE.

If you are looking for a great time to do some Downtown shopping just in time for Christmas, this is the way to go. The event is on Saturday, November 14th, 2020 from 10am - 6pm. The best part is this year admission is free.

Vendor spaces are available now. You can get a booth to sell your wares, a 10x10 booth is $85 and a 10x20 space can be had for $120.

They are also taking entries for the Pineywoods Classic Car Show. The car show will turn all of downtown into a showroom from the past. If you have a classic you would like to show off registration is just $25. The cars will be parked on Shepard St. and 2nd Street. Check in will be at the corner of 2nd St. and E.Burke Ave. Look for Muscle Cars, Drag Cars, Jeeps, Rat Rods, who know what will show up. There will be awards given out, so if you have something to show off, you could win best in show.

Don't forget about the hushpuppies. Yes even though the Forest Festival has been changed and rearranged, we can't forget about that tradition. Sign up your team for the 49th Annual Southern Hushpuppy Championships today here.
