Free COVID-19 Testing in Lufkin This Wednesday and Thursday

The City of Lufkin wants the public to know that free COVID-19 testing will be offered from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday (8/19 & 8/20) at the Pitser Garrison Convention Center through the state.  Pre-registration is NOT required.

As of this past Saturday morning, the Texas Department of State Health Services estimated that there are nearly 1,000 active COVID-19 cases in Angelina County.  School has already started in several area districts and other area schools are set to start in the next week or two, so this would be a great opportunity to make sure that you not exposing others to the Coronavirus.
