If you know me, then you know that I'm a pretty big fan of pizza. It's one of my favorites. However, I heard some news today that has me somewhat concerned about Pizza Hut locations in our area.

According to an article from CNBC, Pizza Hut will be closing up to 300 stores that are owned by NPC International, which filed for bankruptcy protection last month. The article went on to say that NPC International hasn't decided which locations will be closing, or what time they will be closing.

That brings me to the next question: Will it affect the Pizza Hut locations in our area?

I did a bit of looking around online, and according to the NPC International website, they own both of the Lufkin locations. One, on South Timberland Drive, is more of a dine-in location, while the other one - located on South Medford Drive - is more of a carry-out location.

So, will either one of these be affected? As mentioned before, the closing locations haven't been decided on yet. So, until then, we'll keep an eye on the stores and see if they will be affected. Who knows? Maybe both locations are going strong enough that they'll both be able to continue on. We can hope so.

I'm just going to keep on getting pizza.

Have you heard anything about these locations being affected? If so, let us know in the comment section below.
