
Angelina County Fair in Lufkin Announces Day One Champions
The Angelina County Fair, presented by Brookshire Brothers, got started Monday with several contests, including shotgun, archery, desserts, cheesecakes, and public speaking. The fair will continue through Saturday, March 28, culminating with the awards and auction.

It has become an Angelina County Fair tradition to feature some of the daily champions on the Merrell in the Morning Show on KICKS 105. Other Events Still To Come At The Angelina County Fair
There are still plenty of competitions slated for the next several days, including cookies, pies, heifers, steers, lambs, goats, broilers, and more. There's a washer pitching tournament on Wednesday evening and a BBQ Cookoff on Saturday. Live entertainment from Caleb Lane and Emmy Lou Howard will be featured on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
