Recently Justin Bieber said his laptop and camera with "personal footage" was stolen. Since then fans have been wondering what exactly this footage was. But now it appears that it was all a prank to promote Justin's brand-new video.

On Twitter a guy known only by the handle @gexwy claimed he had the footage. He made fun of Justin for his weak password, and said he would release the footage at noon today. When noon came a link was posted, and at first looked like some personal footage, then turned out to be the video for "Beauty and a Beat," Justin's new song with Nicki Minaj.

Text on the screen said "In October of 2012, three hours of personal footage was stolen from musician Justin Bieber. The following footage was uploaded by an anonymous blogger." Then the video comes on and Justin walks by a ping pong table knowingly and, you know you just got got!

No wonder everyone loves playing pranks on Beiber...that's his MO. I am sure he sucked in a bunch of fans with that one!
