Lufkin, Diboll, and Hudson Join List of Schools Canceling Classes

Add Lufkin, Diboll, and Hudson to the list of school districts that will be closing schools for the week of March 16th.

The following is the statement issued by Lufkin ISD:

The Lufkin Independent School District will close for the upcoming week due to concerns about the coronavirus pandemic.

During the coming week, Lufkin ISD will offer meals to students. More information on that process will be released soon at LufkinISD.org.

Classes are scheduled to resume Monday, March 23.
