Lufkin’s Summerfest Texas 2012 – Live Music, Motorcycles and BBQ! [GALLERY]

I had a great time Saturday at this years Summerfest Texas, at the Expo Center in Lufkin. All of the BBQ cook teams did an outstanding job, and everything I sampled was delicious. There were all kinds of things to do face painting, a jump house, BBQ cook off, motorcycle show, not to mention the live music! Lufkin's own newly reunited band Mondo Domo kicked off the live music. Followed by a bunch of big names including Robert Earl Keen who closed the show.

Everyone that came out had a great time, and next year's will be even bigger! All Proceeds from the event will go to make it all happen even bigger next year. Summer Fest Texas was sponsored by Brookshire Brothers, Polk Oil, R&K Distributors, Lufkin Coca-Cola, and of course us here at KFox 955.
