The Nacogdoches County Jail currently houses 304 inmates in their facility. All of them are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Some of the inmates have been there for years, according to the county's inmate search. Victor Torres has still not been to trial for a murder that occurred in 2019.

He has been in the Nacogdoches County Jail since he gave a full confession of a fatal shooting at Sandyland Circle on November 3, 2019. Torres was 19 when he shot and killed 34-year-old Jose Rojo-Velasco and sent three other men to the hospital according to a 2019 article from KTRE.com.

Now 23, he has been in the Nacogdoches County Jail longer than any current inmate.
