NWS Concerned About Development of Strong Tornado in Deep East Texas

The National Weather Service believes that there is cause for concern for the development of a strong tornado in the Deep East Texas area this evening.

A supercell storm system in western Trinity County that already has indicated rotation could intensify over the course of the next hour.  Persons in Trinity, Polk, Houston, Angelina, Nacogdoches, and most surrounding counties are now under a tornado watch until midnight tonight.
