I've been coming to Nacogdoches for my entire life. No exaggeration there, just fact. In the 26 years that I've been travelling through, it's changed a bit.

Restaurants have come and gone, businesses have opened and closed, some have just moved locations.

Now, take a stroll down memory lane with me, and let's discuss some of the changes that have come about for Nacogdoches.

Remember When: Remembering Changes To Nacogdoches

There are other places that have changed in Nac that I can remember, too. Like, The Mustard Seed used to be Cottrell's Christian Books. Or, the location of Harbor Freight used to be Goody's. Does anyone remember Fleming's Young Years on North Street? How about the fact that Super Yummy used to be a Chinese buffet...(actually, it was a couple of different Chinese buffets). And, if you want to talk about downtown, there was Shmidt Shoe Store and Mize's Dept. Store, among other things.

I could go on and on with memories of things that used to be in Nacogdoches, and things that are still in Nacogdoches, but are now in different locations. But, I think I'll leave that for another time...
