Appointments for both clinics can be made online at etxcovidvaccine.com. Those unable to register online should call the Coronavirus Call Center, (936) 630-8500, Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

State agencies have designated Angelina County as a vaccination hub. Monday, March 29, the Texas Department of State Health Services announced that all Texas residents over the age of 16 are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine is the only approved vaccine available for people under 18 and vaccines from Moderna and Johnson & Johnson have been approved for people ages 18 and up. The Deep East Texas Partnership has the Moderna vaccine available currently.

Volunteers make every effort to make the vaccination experience convenient, pleasant, and safe. The average time from check-in to departure is 30 minutes. Masks are required during all processes. Patients are invited to wear comfortable clothing and shoes. The COVID-19 vaccine is administered in the upper arm, so a short-sleeved top is recommended for vaccination visits.

In Nacogdoches, online appointments are being taken for their next free vaccination clinic which will be held on Wednesday, April 14 from 9:15am - 3:45pm. The event will take place at the Nacogdoches County Expo and Civic Center.  The Moderna as well as the Johnson & Johnson vaccines are being distributed for this clinic.
