Teacher Appreciation Event Only At Select Local Wal-Mart Locations

If you know someone that is a teacher, let them know about this one. There will be a free swag bag for the first 300 teachers, a fun photo booth, treats, and a lot more for our educators. It's going down from 12:30pm until 4:30pm on Saturday, July 13th and there will be cake!  As much as I am fired up for back to school, when I checked to see where they were having these events, the Lufkin and Nacogdoches Wal-Mart were not on the list. Livingston Wal-Mart is included along with a few Wal-Marts in other surrounding communities.

I was really glad when I heard that Wal-Mart was going to put together an event just for the area teachers. I was also thinking that it could be a big help for some students too. Teachers from all over Texas go to Wal-Mart to get school supplies. They are usually spending money from their own pocket to do it. My mother was one of these teachers, who would spend her own money to ensure that her classroom was well prepared and her students suitably provided for. I'm sure you've heard of similar accounts or have done this as a teacher yourself.
