Texas Forestry Museum, Fun In The Forest
Throw caution to the wind, and take the kids out for a very interesting night tomorrow night at the Texas Forestry Museums - Fun in the Forest After Dark. Tuesday, February 6th from 6-8pm, put on warm clothing, closed toe shoes, and bring your flashlight. With rain in the forecast, you might want to bring a parka, and an umbrella. The Texas Forestry Museum is in Lufkin, at 1905 Atkinson Drive.
Kids will learn about Smokey The Bear, take a night hike, roast their own hotdog, and lots more. Tickets are just $5 a person, but availability is limited so purchase your tickets right now. Photo's will be taken at the event for promotional materials that will be used by the Texas Forestry Museum.

The Texas Forestry Museum is home to the story of the forests of Texas. The complexity of the natural resource, the legacy of the industry, and the current and future role of forest management practices can be explored through three galleries, outdoor exhibits, and an Urban Wildscape Trail.
