Texas Warrant Round Up Happening Now

It's that time of year folk's, the Nacogdoches and Lufkin Police Departments are combining resources and performing the annual Great Texas Warrant Round-Up, now though March 10th.

This year we have more than 30,000 active warrants, officers will be out rounding up everyone they can find during the next few weeks. If you get rounded up you will be going to jail, so advice to residents is "If you owe a fine, pay it" and heres how you can do that.

Nacogdoches residents have the option of paying their fines online at www.cinacogdoches.tx.us and click on the link to the Municipal Court page. The Nacogdoches Municipal Court is located at 217 West Hospital Street.

Lufkin residents can clear up outstanding fines by visiting http://www.ci.lufkin.tx.us/ and selecting which fine you need to pay the the sidebar menu on the left hand side of the page. They can also pay by mail by cashier's check or money order, or by paying in person at the Lufkin Municipal Court, which is located at 300 East Shepherd Ave with cash, money orders, or debit cards.
