The 33rd Texas State Forest Festival is coming up Wednesday September 20th - Sunday September 24th at the George H.Henderson, Jr Exposition Center, 1200 Ellen Trout Drive, off Loop 287 in Lufkin.
This is a huge event, and did you know that it takes over 300 volunteers to make it all happen? You could be a part of history, as this year promises to be one of the biggest events in Forest Festival History.
Right now they are in particular need of volunteers for Saturday Night. Just take a look at the Volunteer Application. This is one of the biggest nights for the Festival, and there are all kinds of different times and positions you can apply to volunteer for. Ticket Booth, Ticket Taker, Food Court Monitor/Trash Pick Up, Ticket Counter/Booth Check, Volunteer Check In/Refreshments, Vendor Relations, Floater...you get the idea. Just be prepared to be submitted to a background check, and have your drivers license number handy when you fill out the form.
You can be a part of the 33rd Annual Texas State Forest Ffestival being a huge success. You can sign up to volunteer here or contact Tori Jones for more information at TJones@lufkintexas.org. Also, if you need a little extra push to signup, don’t forget all volunteers get a FREE SHIRT.
