July 4th has come and gone, and for many, that means that the Summer break is about halfway gone.  But, there is still plenty of time to get away for a quick excursion to Moody Gardens in Galveston.

The signature sights of Moody Gardens are the Rainforest and Aquarium Pyramids. When you pass over the I-45 bridge into Galveston, the pyramids are easy to spot in the distance.

The Aquarium Pyramid features a 1.5-million-gallon aquarium that s teeming with creatures from tuxedo-clad penguins, to seals, sharks, an amazing Jellyfish Gallery, and thousands of tropical fish and more with new and interactive opportunities all along the way. The Rainforest Pyramid boasts a tree-top canopy view and immersion into the rainforests of Asia, Africa, and the Americas in a rare, up-close, and interactive adventure with over 1,700 exotic plants and endangered animals.

Moody Gardens is the home of many other family favorites such as the Discovery Museum, 3D Theater, 4D Special FX Theater, 20,000 Leagues Audience Recognition Theater, Dinos Alive, or take a ride across the bay on the Colonel Paddlewheel.

We have teamed up with East Texas Slab Masters to give your family four packs of tickets to all of the attractions we highlighted.  Starting July 5, get social with us and sign up to win weekly ticket giveaways.
