Chick-Fil-A put out a press release on "The Chicken Wire" in the middle of January that has started a buzz. They basically just said "take the bun off" and "don't eat the potatoes." Anyone on a Keto diet, or that is trying to eat healthy knows these fun hacks. You can go to any fast food restaurant and let them know you are on a diet before ordering, and I bet they will help you out.

"Go-to" Keto-Conscious Entrees On-the-Go:

When hunger strikes throughout the day, turn to these keno-conscious menu items for sustenance:

Grilled Chicken Sandwich with no bun: 3 carbs

Grilled Chicken Club with no bun :3 carbs

Grilled Nuggets:2 carbs

Cobb Salad with Grilled Chicken: 10 Carbs

So no breaded nuggets, no fried anything, take off the bun. That is all pretty obvious, but the one thing that I was most interested in was the sauces and dressings. I could see that the Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad dressing must add some of those 10 carbs. But the sauces were what really surprised me. But they are only a couple of tablespoons so, if you eat 10 of them, you ain't doin' it right.

Dressings and Sauces:

Our Side Salad may be an obvious choice for guests adhering to certain diets, but did you know that you don’t have to nix your favorite Chick-fil-A sauces and dressings to stay true to keto? Check out your options:

  • Side Salad: 9g net carbs
  • Garlic & Herb Ranch Sauce: 1g net carb
  • Zesty Buffalo Sauces: 0g net carbs
  • Creamy Salsa Dressing: 2g net carbs
  • Light Italian Dressing: 3g net carbs
  • Avocado Lime Ranch Dressing: 2g net carbs

I think some naked nuggets and Zesty Buffalo Sauce would be pretty low in carbs. In a pinch, just remember, bread is the enemy. If it comes in a box, throw it out. Just try to eat real food. I'm just glad that Lufkin Mall Chick-Fil-A has a drive through now. The one on the other side of the loop is fast, but further away for me. Nacogdoches on North street location is pretty quick too.
