Christmas Trees Are Coming To Centennial Park In Huntington, Texas
If you are crazy about Christmas and want to experience everything our area has to offer this holiday season, there are a couple of things coming up in Huntington that you don't want to miss.
They have an event on November 27, 2022 named Christmas Trees in Centennial Park. It's brought to you by the Huntington Business Owners Association.
You can join in by decorating your own tree for the park, and there are five different ways you can make your entry special.
Decorate A Tree And Win Some Cash In Huntington, Texas
Here are the five different types of trees that you could design.
- In Memory Of A Loved One
- In Honor Of Someone
- For A Business
- For An Organization
- For A Family
When you have completed your tree creation, you can place it along the sidewalk on the T-posts provided in Centennial Park located at North 3rd Street in Huntington, Texas.
All entries should be attached to the post with zip ties or wire, so they can stand up to any weather. The entries will be judged and cash prizes will be given out during the "Light Up The Park" Ceremony Saturday, December 3, 2022.
1st Place - $200
2nd Place - $100
3rd Place - $50

Huntington, Texas Annual Christmas Parade Is Saturday, December 3, 2022
Also on December 3rd, you can join in on Huntington's Annual Christmas Parade. There is still time to sign up to be in the parade.
If you want to watch the parade, it will be following the traditional route. Line-up is on Mulberry Street behind Huntington Middle School.
They will go down Main Street to Ash Street past the nursing home, down 6th street, and back to Mulberry. There will be trophies for the best entries.
