City Of Lufkin Fireworks Extravaganza Getting Closer! [VIDEO]

Set on one of the most beautiful backdrops anywhere, the Mike Love and Associates, City of Lufkin Fireworks Extravaganza at Ellen Trout Park and Zoo, is the best in the region. Launched over Ellen Trout Lake, the show has many great vantage points from the park.

Mike Love and Associates, The City of Lufkin Parks and Recreation Department, KFox 955 are all getting ready for a huge 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza at Ellen Trout Park & Zoo Thursday July 4th.

As always something bigger and better will be added to the fireworks every year.  This is an amazing 25min long display and is one of the longest 4th of July fireworks shows in America.  Enjoy live music from local and regional bands on the main stage.

Loop 287 from 59 to 69 will be closed down as always that evening. Z&00 Railroad starts at 9am till Dark.  Ellen Trout Zoo will be open 9am – 8pm.  Shuttle will run from Lufkin High School provided by LISD to the parking lot at the expo till 8pm, then return everyone back to there cars there with security.

We will be airing the music choreographed to the Fireworks and doing live broadcasts from the park all day on K-Fox 955!
