Every time the Eagles go on tour, it's big news. They put so much effort into their performance, and it definitely shows. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you've got the chance to find out in 2020, especially if you're a Texas resident. The Eagles will be playing - at least - four shows right here in the Lone Star State. I say at least, because there's still time for them to add more if they choose.

According to a press release from Eagles.com, the band's official website, they will be on their Hotel California 2020 tour. Here's a bit about the tour:

Eagles - Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, with Deacon Frey and Vince Gill – are bringing their recent, highly acclaimed “Hotel California” performances on tour in 2020 with concerts in Atlanta, New York, Dallas, Houston, San Francisco and Los Angeles. See below for a full listing of tour dates. Each night’s concert will feature a “Hotel California” set, with an accompanying orchestra and choir, followed by an additional set of the band’s greatest hits.

The four shows here in Texas are listed below:

  • February 29, 2020 - American Airlines Center (Dallas)
  • March 1, 2020 - American Airlines Center (Dallas)
  • March 6, 2020 - Toyota Center (Houston)
  • March 7, 2020 - Toyota Center (Houston)

Even though there are a few months between now and these shows, tickets go on sale Friday, October 18th at 10 AM to the general public. I don't know about you, but I think that the fact that there are four shows being played within a three-hour drive of here is pretty cool. And a three-hour drive is probably worth it to see the Eagles on tour, right?
