A Favorite Texas Grocery Store Continues To Grow
If HEB is your favorite grocery chain in Texas, you aren't alone. The grocery store and offshoot brand - Joe V's Smart Shop, continues to grow near DFW.
The tortillas and the Whataburger condiments are making waves throughout the Metroplex and all over Texas. According to WFAA, the company has recently broken ground in Prosper, Texas on the corner of Frontier Parkway and the Dallas North Toll Way.
They celebrated a massive grand opening at their first Tarrant County location. The HEB Alliance at 3451 Heritage Trace Parkway grand opening was overrun with over 800 people on April 10, 2024.
H-E-B Builds New Stores In Growing Prosperous Areas
If they aren't breaking ground on a new shiny HEB in your area, there is a reason. Nothing is left to chance with businesses these days.
They have done their homework, and are over the days of putting something up and seeing how it goes. It's no coincidence that they are building new stores in areas where the population is growing and has expendable income.

They broke ground in December on the first one in Dallas at 4101 West Wheatland Road. Since it's a smaller store, they go up fast.
