When you think about Dungeons & Dragons, your first thought might go to "Stranger Things" where the main boys would sit in Mike's basement fighting imaginary enemies on a table.

Dungeons & Dragons is a tabletop game where a story unfolds and the players have to use their minds, and characters stats to navigate a world created by someone known as the DM (Dungeon Master)

It seems like more and more adults are wanting to give D&D a try these days, but struggle to find the time or a good group of friends to play with.

If your group does have the time, it's up to on of you to take on the role of Dungeon Master. This can bring a lot of stress to an individual. One person either has to find either official or unofficial published mods or story lines. A lot of good DMs make up a story from scratch, but if you're just dipping your toes in the water, you may not want to stray from a campaign that's already been proven to test all your players' skill sets.

Gamer's Hollow in Nacogdoches is hosting a DM Seminar on Thursday (August 22nd) starting at 7 pm. It will only cost $5 to be a part of a Q&A with a panel of experienced D&D players.

I myself an am experienced Dungeon Master, and you can see our DJs & Dragons series here. I will not be on the panel, but I trust that the folks at Gamer's Hollow will set you up right.
