Fuller Springs Woman Asking for Help in Locating Missing Macaw

A woman from Fuller Springs, just southeast of Lufkin, is asking for the public's help in locating her 5-month-old Bolivian blue and gold macaw.

Teresa Latham says that the macaw answers to Charlie Monkey. He's been missing for 2 days and is in the Fuller Springs area.  Latham sent us a Facebook message saying "He is flying to tree top to tree top, he doesn't know how to land, he's scared and weak, it rainy and cold and my heart is breaking."

Latham goes on to say that Charlie Monkey doesn't bite and he will answer if his name is called.  If you have a way to play macaw sounds, he will answer.  If you see this macaw, you can contact Latham at 409 224 9702 or go to her Facebook Page.
