Have you ever been to a Goodwill Houston Outlet? The best thing about them is that they allow customers to sort through the bins themselves.

Fresh, untainted donations right from the source are a picker's heaven. Customers are allowed to buy products, including clothing, by the pound.

It would be worth the drive if you are a true thrifter at heart. According to the Houston Chronicle, there are 4 of these magical stores in Houston.

Where Are The Houston Goodwill Outlet Stores?

Just a month ago, a brand new Goodwill Select Store and Donation Center opened at 9320 Texas 6 North, near U.S. 290 in northwest Houston. Three other locations remain in Houston: Greenspoint, Long Point, and Sabo.

They recently closed their outlet on FM 529 near Cypress for renovations, but it will eventually reopen as a retail-only thrift shop style store, so no more bin fun there. The Gessner outlet is now closed and will eventually reopen as a clearance store and a training facility for Goodwill's new Training Academy.

Get In On The Bin Experience At This Massive Goodwill Store In Houston

Houston area TikToker HANNAH✨recently went and got us a quick peek inside the new MASSIVE Goodwill Store. It looks bigger than a Sam's Warehouse in the video.

She does mention that because you are getting access to the bins before anyone else that you need to wash and sanitize everything. I would also double-check for loose items.
