Growing up, I didn't travel much outside of the South. One of my friends went to New York on vacation and when he met other travelers they were amazed that he was just like them. Here are just a few of the questions he was asked:

  • How many horses do you have?
  • Why don't you wear boots?
  • Why shouldn't I mess with Texas?
  • How many guns do you own?
  • Do you listen to anything besides country music?

Texans Are Nice Until It's Time Not To Be Nice

The main problem with Texans is that we were born with hearts two sizes too big. Some think that is a golden opportunity to interrupt us, while we're talking.

The Texan accent doesn't sound the most educated, so we use that as a cloak to make our adversaries underestimate us. We are slow to anger and quick to forgive unless you get on our bad side, then it's adios muchacho.

Texans Play Nice Until We Don't

Once we have had enough, you will know it. Mess with the bull and you get the horns.
