A recent survey showed that in Texas these two towns are tops. They are 165 miles apart, but here that is actually pretty close.

WalletHub recently released a "Top 5 Most Fun Cities" list for the U.S. Sadly no towns in Texas made it.

Luckily they showed us the rest of the list and Texas claimed two slots in the top 10. Austin came in at number 6 and Houston was number 9.

Cost Rank For The Most Fun Texas Cities

To find the most fun cities in the U.S. Wallethub compared 182 cities, including the 150 most populated in the county. They used 65 different metrics, each graded on a 100 point scale to come up with the list.

In those metrics, they took into account the cost of the fun to be had in the city, and that helped Texas move up the list. They only took into account the city proper, not the surrounding areas.

Looking at the number of attractions, restaurants per capita, nightlife, and other data, the list is a snapshot of what some of the biggest cities in Texas have to offer.
