In front of a hostile crowd of inanimate cardboard cutouts, Brandon Belt launched a 1-2 pitch high above the right field fence for a 3-run blast helping the San Francisco Giants to a 4-3 win over the division-leading Colorado Rockies.

Belt, who played his high school ball for the Hudson Hornets, has missed several games so far this year thanks to an injured heel.  He looked like he was still walking with a bit of limp last week, but last night in Colorado he appeared to be well on his way to being the top notch slugger we know him to be.

Brandon Belt fans will have the chance to see him close to home when the Giants swing into Minute Maid Park in Houston on Monday, August 10th for a 3-game series against the Astros. Well, never mind, you can watch him on TV from your home as he plays close to home.  #COVIDGoAway
