41 Angelina College Students Recognized At Recent Scholarship Banquet

41 Angelina College students received recognition at the Smith-Hutson Scholarship Banquet held this past week at Crown Colony Country Club in Lufkin. The Smith-Hutson Scholarship was established at AC in 2003. It was created to assist incoming students – as well as those students with at least a year remaining – who demonstrate both financial need and academic promise as they pursue an associate’s degree or certifications in their chosen fields of study, according to the AC website.

The scholarship targets assistance with tuition, books, fees, and reasonable living expenses.
