It has been a while since the last Lotto Texas winner. You have to go all the way back to September since that game from the Texas Lottery has paid off. The estimated jackpot for tonight's drawing (March 27, 2023) is now up $58 million. It's been 12 years since the Lotto Texas jackpot has reached that level.
Even though millions of dollars are waiting to be won with Lotto Texas, an East Texan has become the latest scratch-off millionaire (before taxes, that is).
According to a release from officials at the Texas Lottery, a Flint, Texas resident claimed a top prize winning ticket worth $1 million in the Texas Lottery® scratch ticket game 200X Cash Blitz. Flint is located between Bullard and Tyler.
The claimant, who elected to remain anonymous, actually bought the ticket in west Texas. The winning scratch-off ticket was purchased at Uncle’s 130203, located at 6601 FM 307, in Midland, Texas.
This was the second of four top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in this game. The first $1 million winner purchased the ticket back in January at a market in Seabrook, Texas.
An East Texas store in Porter, Texas recently sold a $1 million scratch-off ticket in the Jackpot Millions game.
200X Cash Blitz cost $20 per ticket and offers more than $145 million in total prizes. Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.68, including break-even prizes.
